    Hi all :)

    I’ve been trying to upload a free eBook and opt in form to my wordpress website, but have since discovered that I need plug ins that aren’t available to wordpress.com

    I think I need to upgrade to wordpress.org, but don’t know how…

    I always thought that upgrading my wordpress.com to a premium or business account would allow me the plug ins I need and upgrade my wordpress.com website to a wordpress.org website.

    Is that how its done?

    … I did mention it was a stupid question ;)

    No. There is no upgrade here but the $30,000 a year VIP program that allows plugins. You cannot “upgrade” a wordpress.com blog to a .org one. You have to build a WordPress.org site from scratch and import your contents into it.
