    Hi

    I would like to move to a 3 column blog (possibly one of the sandbox ones) and I have purchesed the CSS upgrade but I have no idea how to go about doing anything with it. I would like something original rather than just one of the standard templates.

    Does anyone know any blog designers who could do this for me? I am willing to pay (although I don’t have a huge budget).

    My blog is http://boofsbookshelf.com

    Thanks in advance.

    The blog I need help with is boofsbookshelf.com.

    It’s REALLY not recommended that you purchase the upgrade if you don’t know CSS.

    I know Devblog knows CSS for WP.com inside and out, but I’m not sure if he’s taking on new clients now and not sure what his rate is. Do you have any idea how much professional designers charge?

    You may wish to get your money back.

    Wow, that was a little harsh.

    I am completely new to blogging and didn’t realise about CSS when I purchased it. Like a lot of people on this forum I came on for a little advice – wasn’t quite expecting to be told off, but thanks for your opinion.

    raincoaster’s response may sound harsh to you, but the reality is:
    the CSS upgrade is not recommended to those who do not have CSS editing experience;
    there is no Staff support for learning CSS editing;
    only a couple of volunteers dedicate their free time to helping others on an infrequent basis – free of charge;
    if you want a professional web design job “something original rather than just one of the standard templates” then you have to pay for it and those services are not “cheap”.

    @boofsbooks Just so you know their is NO official support here @ WP.com for the CSS Upgrade so this basically leaves you to defend for yourself with learning CSS or option 2 you can try to get a refund by contacting staff directly here is their contact link http://en.support.wordpress.com

    Also the forums are ran by volunteers by bloggers like you and I..

    I’m not trying to tell you off; I’m trying to save you money. The refund is time-limited.

    By the way, professional designers charge anywhere from $500 and up. The one I know best charges $5000 per page.
