API Key for Stats doesn't work

  1. The owner of that API Key (xxxx) is not on the access list for this blog (2933800). Stats was installed using a different API key. The owner of the original key can add users to the access list, or you can contact support.

    The blog I need help with is

    Here is the new error:

    You are not a member of this site.

    If you have just installed the Stats plugin, this error probably appeared because the API key entered in the plugin belongs to a different user account.

    The owner of the API key must visit this site's stats page to grant access.

  4. WordPress stats were replaced quite some time ago now with the Jetpack plugin. Some JetPack solutions are here

  5. I know it has been replaced, unfortunately I can't install it due to a conflict with the custom theme. I think this is just an issue with the account since it has worked fine for the last 6 years. I removed and reinstalled Stats and that's when the username got disassociated from the account. I was told someone in the backend can fix this.

  8. This site is NOT a hosted blog. Which site are you referring to?

  9. It is self-hosted, but the account for Stats plugin is on So not sure exactly where to reach out for support.
