Hello, I have a blog with the theme twenty eleven and I´d like its apperance in an ipad were the same that in a PC.
I tried disabling mobil theme but the apperance in ipad was the same. I don´t know if the reason is that twenty eleven is “responsive”, but i´d like to find a solution (I want that in a ipad the sidebar of the right of my blog appears on the right, not in the botton)
    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is ideasymodaparaninoschic.com.

@imchicn, disable the mobile theme and then in preferences in your iPad, go to Safari and clear the browser cache and take a look at your site. Smart phones and tablets will many times use cached versions of the sites in order to save bandwidth and make things faster.

Twenty Eleven is a responsive width theme. Responsive width means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading. So yes I think responsive width may be a factor.

    Howdy,

I’m afraid that that’s correct. Responsive design means that the website is coded to automatically re-arrange the position of elements so that they best fit the resolution of the mobile device. In this case, there is no way to change the position of the sidebar when it gets down to a responsively triggered size.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
