Are posting months the only archiving organization?

I am writing a memoir, and the posting date has no relevance whatsoever. I write about the 1960’s, and if I could archive my postings according to the months that I discuss in my writing, then monthly organization would be fine. Otherwise I would be happy to be able to archive my posts by sequential uploading numbers, starting with 1, and organized into groups of 1-50, 51-100, 101-150, etc, instead of by month. Could something be done, or is the posting month archive organization a part of the basic architecture of WordPress?

The blog I need help with is gymbrat.wordpress.com.

We would need a link to your blog in order to help with technical questions.

You can ease the process by linking your username to your blog, as described in “8 Things to Know Before Posting” sticky at the top of this forum.

Sorry about that – I am learning. But as an aside suggestion: Instead of asking for “Website” in the user specs, ask for “Website of your blog”. When I filled out the form I thought you meant the name of any private website that I might own, and I thought of the website that I sold three years ago and said NO.

At least I have now entered my blog address. Sorry again.

Thank you for the link. Just use tags or categories for year and month, and then you can easily navigate through time. The Archive itself is not flexible, but those will make it irrelevant.

And of course there’s also the new Archives shortcode
