Are WordPress blogs linked together publicly?

  1. If I have two blogs on WordPress, are they AT ALL linked together in the eyes of the public? Is there some sort of hidden link on my primary blog or something like that? I'm probably being paranoid, but I really don't want some of the people who see my primary blog to see the new one I'm creating. I know they'll be linked together as an admin, but what about the public?

The blog I need help with is

  2. thistimethisspace

When we register a username account here the email address we provide becomes our unique identifier. When we are logged into and register a blog it's registered to that username account we are logged in under and to the email address which is our unique identifier. We can register as many blogs as we wish and provided we are using the same username account then all the blogs will be registered under it and the associated email account. We can change our "display name" but that display name will appear on all blogs registered under the same username account.

In order to completely separate the blogs that you do not want to be associated with each other you register another username account using a different email address when you are logged out of

Then you add the new username account as an official user of the blog, and designate them (ie. you) as an Admin. Next you transfer one of the blogs to the new username account using this process.

  3. Well, yes. You have the same username, and many themes show the name of the person who made the post. They all show the name of the person who left a comment. If you want total anonymity you want two separate user accounts, connected to two separate emails. Username1 invites username2 to be admin of Blog 2 and then you have two completely separate blogs.
