Attachments to blog posts do no longer open

    Hi there, I have since 2013 had a blog called nzsocialjusticeblog2013, on which some posts have been presenting information plus attachments on welfare issues in New Zealand. I used to be able to load PDF and other media files, and publish them on posts to be opened and downloaded. As of recently I am still able to attach media, but the files or links to them no longer function, they do not open, which is a major problem now. As some posts need evidence to be presented to the readers, this makes it near impossible to use Worpress and my blog, as it is a waste of time writing things, when they are not able to be backed up by media files attached to posts.

    Could you please advise whether there have been changes to the free blogs that are offered, so that no such media files can no longer be published, or whether this is perhaps a technical issue that needs to be resolved by WordPress,

    All attachments are authentic and reliable documents, that should not raise any issues.

    I despair at why this is now happening, but in older post from late last year the attachments and media files still open without any problem. Why the hell is this now a problem that I experience?
