audio player customisation
Hi there – I’m using the web-based wordpress.com and I’ve recently embedded the flash based audio player onto my site. The audio plays fine, animation and everything is how I expected it – however it doesn’t look how I expected or how I’ve seen it on other websites… I was expecting there to be no background to the player until the play button is pressed – but instead I have a white strip (the length of the player when opened) visible before the audio is played… check out my Audi/Video page http://benjamincarey.wordpress.com/audiovideo to see what I mean… I’ve been looking at all the attributes of the audio player that are customisable and I can’t find a way to get rid of this – I guess I want it to be transparent?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
The blog I need help with is benjamincarey.wordpress.com.
You can’t make it transparent, but you can change the colors; see here:
And/or you can remove the extra strip by writing:
[audio MP3 URL HERE|width=80]
Or you can use 3rd-party players:
Thanks for the replies panaghiotisadam – I’ve tried changing the width and other parameters etc but I’ll give some of your options from your site a go. If not that’s a great list of 3rd party players too that I’ll check out – cheers!
