Auto generating posts with iOS App

    First off I know there is an app to create posts. But I have my own website that runs wordpress and we have our own iPhone app that needs to create posts and I was wondering if anyone has experience doing this as I am having trouble, the wp_insert_post command works but not if called through an iOS app.
