As an admin, I want to move comments made by others to another more appropriate place on the blog. For example, I want to move their comment that has to do with horses to the Horse article when they commented under the article about cows. So I copied their comment in the correct place, added their screen name and email. When it appears on the blog, the sidebar comments show it as my comment, not theirs. In the comment section, it shows their name and comment, but my avatar.

Is this the way it is supposed to work, or am I missing a step?

Also, the drop down menu that contained the support button on the dashboard is gone. Where is it now?

    Thanks,
    BB

The blog I need help with is wtpotus.wordpress.com.

There is no way I know of to rectify this. Moving comments can be done but the software does not anticipate that and provide a change in avatar/gravatar when we do move comments.

Also, the drop down menu that contained the support button on the dashboard is gone. Where is it now?

There are still two “add new” links for posts now.
One in the new drop-down on the right hand side under our avatar/gravatar.
One in the far left column in the Posts module drop-down (Admin page).
