Backwards apostrophe marks

  1. Can anyone tell me why in this html : This is a quick iPhone snapshot of a drawing of mine which will be used for <a href="">Anne Guthrie</a>'s forthcoming <a href="">Notice Recordings</a> cassette release,, the apostrophe after "Guthrie" would be backwards ?? I get backwards apostrophes and quotation makes often, and I don't understand why

    The blog I need help with is

  2. Because it's after the closing link tag, so the editor sees the "s" as a separate word and inserts an opening quotation mark. You should either include the apostrophe-s in the link text or use the right HTML entity instead of typing an apostrophe:
    & # 8 2 1 7 ;
    (minus the spaces)

  3. Got it. Thanks a bunch
