Bad ads are showing to the public that frequents my site.
Please remove these ads want or have to shut down the blog. These are children who access my blog. If it can not be removed, put advertising on the public.
The blog I need help with is amoraleite.wordpress.com.
To off-set the costs of providing free hosting to millions of bloggers, WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read the advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all.
If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. All of WordPress.com ads are family-friendly. If you feel an ad is inappropriate please take a screenshot of it, upload it via Media -> Add New to your Media Library. Then return to this thread to post the file name to let Staff them know it’s there for them to view.
Lastly, note to eliminate all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs we can purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.
Thanks for your reply.
So I’m thinking of paying to remove these ads. I even created a blog on wordpress.org. But really people have written to me saying that the pictures are inappropriate. I am very sad about it. I’m a user of wordpress.com for a long time.
Again. My blog is seen by children.

They’re cheesy, but not obscene.
First, I really don’t see anything wrong with those. Nothing that isn’t in most newspapers and magazines.
Second, I’m not sure those are inserted by WP. I thought WP ads were only at the bottom of the pages.
No, WP puts ads in several places. It’s only Word Ads that only go at the bottom.
This isn’t a matter for Volunteers. We have been asked to post what I posted above. You have provided the screenhot URLs for Staff to examine and we Volunteers have no role to play here at all.
I did not say obscene. I said inappropriate. Not explicit, but inappropriate. I have two requests of different fathers who do not like what they saw. These children 3-5 years old accompanied by parents.
There’s no need to get into any exchange of opinions here. What matters is what Staff decide and I have flagged this thread for their attention.
OK thank you timethief. :)
Our apologies, this shouldn’t happen again. Thank you for the report.
