  • Why the mulitcolored banner?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

Australia will be holding a national survey on marriage equality over the next two months. To show our support as a company for marriage equality, we’re showing the rainbow bar in the WordPress.com admin bar to all logged-in Australian visitors. You can read more about the marriage equality campaign here: http://www.equalitycampaign.org.au/

  • I get that but is WordPress trying to pressure and bully me into voting a certain way?? That is not very democratic and I am feeling intimidated. Is that the intent of WordPress?? If so, for shame. Everytime I visit the WordPress web site to view the blogs of people I follow, I am feeling pressured to feel and think in a certain way. Is this your intent to bully people to go along with what you think?? Should I not be able to think and reason for myself without having WordPress pressure me??

  • I have explained the intent of displaying this bar above – to publicly show our support as a company for a cause that affects many of our users and employees.

  • Am I not a user of any value and yet I am being disrespected and bullied. Your tactics are shameful. Are you supporting people of all walks and visions or just those who agree with you? The answer is obvious. You want to bully people to believe as you belive and think as you think. Can you say 1984? Can you say Heil Hitler? Welcome to the pogroms.
