Baskerville 2 – show date and category on post

    Hey!

    I’m using Baskerville 2. I want to display the date and the category etc on the top of the single post page. At the moment it just shows the title and then straight into copy so it looked a bit blank. I’ve tried clicking the ‘Show date’ options on the Content Options tab but it only applies to the home screen and not the individual posts.

    Any advice?

    Hi,

    On Baskerville 2, the publish date, categories, and tags are displayed at the bottom of posts. See, for example, your post The Southern Rail Train Strikes – a poem. I don’t believe that there is an option to display them on the top of a post rather than on the bottom.

    As musicdoc1 mentioned, there isn’t a way to display that information at the top of the post. In this case you would need to use a theme that displays that information where you’d like it.

    Dyad 2 is another grid based theme that might work for you:

    On wider screens, the date is on the left with the featured image, but on narrower screens, the date is displayed beneath the post title.
