I have been asked to become a contributor to another blog in addition to my own, on the admin page of the ‘new’ blog we can only see where to add a new user — not someone with an existing WordPress account. Are we missing something?
To add you as a contributor, the blog owner goes to users > users and they type in the email address associated with the account/username they wish to be a contributor, select the role for that user (if different from the default) and then click “add user.”
You then should receive an email stating you have been added. After you get that email, log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then log back into your account. The other blog should then show up in your “my blogs” pulldown in the grey admin bar.
The topic ‘Become contributor to another blog?’ is closed to new replies.
