Any image uploaded to the web will automatically be rendered by browsers at 72 DPI. They ignore the DPI data in the image. Also monitors today are either 72, 96 or 120 DPI (few are actually 120) so you never see 300 DPI image, not even if viewing it in an image viewer on your computer. The DPI number is only applicable to printing. Not viewing on a monitor or on the web.
