You can set only one interface language in any blog here > Settings > General
However, you can write a blog post in the three different languages and then post the three versions of the entry on the same blog, make each language category (English, Chinese, Italian) , create a custom menu and add the categories pages to it.

Yep, ok. Thank you for your kind and fast reply:)
so there’s no chance to have the buttons for English, Chinese, Italian versions of the same site (actually I’m using the blog as website), right? My site is http://www.shopthechic.me
thanks!:)

I don’t know what you mean by buttons. There are tabs in the custom menu bar. Using the blog as a post based blog or as a page based website is irrelevant. WordPress blogs can be structured either way.

I mean the buttons you usually have on websites to swich from one language to another, so that the same website can be red by people speaking different languages just by choosing the language they prefer. Sorry I was not very clear:)
thanks!

That’s what I thought you meant. You need to hire a web host and set up a wordpress.ORG install to have that.

However, what I describe above produces the same result.
You can write a blog post in the three different languages and then post the three versions of the entry on the same blog, make each language category (English, Chinese, Italian) , create a custom menu and add the categories pages to it. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/bilingual-siteblog-not-the-automatic-machine-translation?replies=6#post-1184289 -
that’s what I was afraid to hear… I guess wordpress.ORG is a bit too complicated for someone who doesn’t know a lot about websites like me…:'(

The only difference is that there are WordPress.ORG themes with plugins that do what you want to do automatically. I explained how to do that manually on a WordPress.com blog.
It’s my very strongly held opinion that anyone who has not mastered WordPress.COM blogging should not even consider moving to self hosting a WordPress.ORG install.

You can do it easily in English and Italian, since they use basically the same alphabet; just make two different blog posts. But you can’t also do it in Chinese, since that uses an entirely different alphabet.
