Blocked blog address
I have messed up my account and blog – I had an old blog that I first changed the address on and then decided to remove the blog and start again with a new account. However, my blog address is still blocked, how do I remove this block?

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.
If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

This is an automated message.
This is the result of clicking your username link:
hcold.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.
There are three warnings and a confirmation email given prior to deleting a WordPress.com blog. These notices make it clear that deleting a blog is forever. There is no recycling of blog names URLs here at all.
If your are referring to another WordPress.com blog and it is “blocked” that only happens when Staff suspend blogs for breaching the Terms of Service. In those cases we Volunteers answering support questions have no role to play in the process. This is between you and Staff. If you have a warning notice on your dashboard with a link in it then please click that link. If you contacted Staff by using the “click here to contact us” link in the notice, the ToS department definitely received your request. Please be patient as they’ll be getting back to you as soon as they can.
And note that as a policy,we refrain from discussing ToS issues on the public forums.
If this is not the case, and you simply deleted a WordPress.com blog and want a new one then your will have to register one. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
