Blog post not showing in Reader

    So, it happened again. I managed to post one blog article without problems on February 6 but the next one from today is not there. I’m still suspecting this is somehow connected to plugin updates, either of Jetpack or of Yoast. I waited a few days after I installed the updates before writing a new post but it’s still not showing up in the Reader. Maybe I should have waited another day because it’s mostly on Mondays when post don’t show up correctly. What’s even more weird this time: while it was not shown in the list with the other blogs I follow, I could see the post when I selected my blog via the ‘Manage subscriptions’ menu only a few minutes after publishing. I even made a screenshot but when I checked again a few minutes later, it was gone.

    I’m really sorry to bother you again after such a short time but could you please refresh the feed?

    Not sure if you’ve seen the previous comment but after about an hour, the new post ist showing up fine in the Reader so maybe I was just not patient enough this time :)

    You really don’t have to apologise. This is a problem on our end, so I’m happy to fix this for you until we can track down the cause and fix it for good. It should be working now.

    And here we are again. Next new post, same old problem. Like last time, the post is not shown in the Reader with posts from other blogs but when I go to ‘subscribed sites’ and then select my blog, the post is right there on the top. However, this only seems to work in desktop view/when going via the browser (checked for Mac & Google Chrome and Safari, iPad & Safari) but not in the WordPress app on iPhone, iPad or Mac.

    Could you refresh the feed again, please?

    Yes, it is a bit frustrating sometimes but what can I do. Fortunately, I’m not blogging that much at the moment anyway so my readers have to be patient too :)
