I’ve just started a blog called ‘RHINOPLASTY RECOVERY MARCH 2013, AFTER MOHS SKIN CANCER SURGERY’
I am hoping that it will go out into ‘cyberspace’ for others going through similar experience. Not sure if I’ve done it right though.
The blog I need help with is traceybrooke.wordpress.com.
There are many ways to share your blog. If I understood right, you want to learn about sharing.
You can go to the settings tab of your dashboard and select Sharing. Then you can connect your Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Linkedin, Tumblr accounts with your blog. When you publish a post, your accounts will automatically notify your followers& friends.
Other than social media, make sure that you use categories and tags in your posts. They make your posts easily reachable in the WordPress reader and also in Google search results.
You can use the Follow Blog widget. Place it on your blog and readers can add their e-mail adresses to the newsletter. A newsletter is automatically sent when a post is published.
Thank you. I will give all that another go today. I somehow opened a yahoo account to share through, but don’t know if it is sharing or if it is doing anything. (You’ve probably worked out I am not that computer savvy:))
I tried to privately link it to some Facebook friends, but they got nothing. I didn’t particularly want it to just be there on my Facebook for everyone I know to see – I’m not keeping my nose repair a secret from all I know, but I don’t particularly want it to be everyone’s main conversation. The blog is more for those going through or contemplating what I’m going through with mine at the moment. I found reading others blogs very helpful.
I don’t even know how to find this blog by googling or anything, I can only find it because I bookmarked it.
Thank you for your assistance.
Finding a 14 hour old new blog with almost no content on Google is not realistic at all – takes 4 to 6 weeks for a new web site to be indexed and that is if you have content worth indexing

Each time you make a Post your blog does notify the search engines that you have something –
Look in the forum there are hundreds of ways to get more visits if not thousands
Thank you for your reply. I wasn’t expecting a lot of traffic yet – sorry if I gave that impression. I just wasn’t sure if it was out there or not. I will follow your tips.
Thank you again.
