  How do I get the blog page to only preview part of the article and not the whole thing? Thanks!

  Many themes let you choose to display an excerpt on the blog page via the Customizer’s Content Options panel:

  In themes that don’t support that feature, you can use the More tag instead:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/
