Blog stats link missing from Dashboard?

    Hello!

I’m trying to look at my blog stats, but when I login to the WordPress.com account the dashboard menu only has two items listed under it: “Dashboard” and “Akismet Stats.”

From reading the page below from the Support site, it seems like there should be more links underneath the word dashboard:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/

Blog stats, Blog Surfer, My Comments, Readomattic, Tag Surfer, My Blogs, Subscriptions.

None of those things are in the dashboard? What’s up?

I am currently using WordPress 2.7.1, if that makes a difference.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It makes a big difference, thanks for identifying your version number. That means you have a self hosted site (see below). Your use of 2.7.1 is a security problem and you should consider updating your software.

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.COM, this site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/

I no longer see “Blog Stats” under Dashboard. Instead, I see “Site Stats”, which produces a Histogram instead of the very handy Line Chart. Did I do something wrong?

@alipachi, you are using a really, really, really, really old version of wordpress software with security issues (not to mention that wordpress has passed you by and many plugins now will not even work with the version you are using.

Upgrade to the latest version of wordpress immediately if not sooner. Make sure and do a full backup beforehand through your cPanel (if your host has that).

I just fixed 3 hacked blogs that were using 2.7 and it cost the client a bundle for my time.
