How do I change my blog header so it matches my new domain name? I can’t seem to find where I can change the text? I have changed my gravatar details and personal details but this hasn’t changed the header.
The blog I need help with is weariwalk.com.
Site titles (Blog Names) and optional Taglines located here > Settings > General can easily be changed at any time.
I followed your instructions for this, and it worked, but when ever I post the link to my blog in another website, it’s still showing the old name and tag line. Why?
This is what I see
Ms. Fihaki: My journey of spiritual growth
at this URL http://msfihaki.wordpress.com/
That’s what I see as well when going directly to the link, but when I am sharing the link on facebook it appears like this:
A glimpse inside the mind of crazy
that information (memoirsofaninsanewoman…etc) is the old information. I’m trying to figure out why it is still showing that information if my title and tag lines have been changed.
1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
2. Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.
3. See also publicize troubleshooting http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting
Note: RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti can be used for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.
Please note that reconnecting Publicize with Facebook does not re-publicize missed posts, but it will work for future posts.
That worked. Thank you so much for your help! I wanted to show my blog in a more positive light, and now I can! :-)
You’re welcome and best wishes.
