why does my blog adress stands as erased?
I changed the adress for my blog from somthing i’ve already forgot to sigridsvrld.wordpress.com. But now when i try to write a blog post or visit my blog it stands that the blogadress is no longer available. WHY??
Hope to get an answer soon so i can start to write a blog.
The blog I need help with is sigridsvrld.wordpress.com.
You deleted http://sigridsvrld.wordpress.com/ now you cannot get that URL back, as you permanently deleted it. If you changed the domain, then the old one is deleted unless you click the option which says that it will be kept
You can see the blogs that you currently have here: http://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs and then access their dashboard’s and post from there.
Thanks for answering. So, I can never again use the URL? Stupid system! It was a misstage to delete it, I was’t even aware it was the new adress i deleted. Thaught it was the old one :(
It’s not easy to delete a free hosted WordPress.com blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ You clicked that link and the URL is gone.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
