Blogs suddenly going to Spam Mail...coming from different place...WHY?

  1. Hello,

    My blogs just started sending the blogs as Brevard Rescue Mission Letters <[email redacted]> instead of do not -reply at Word It is placing these in people's junk/spam mail.
    To my knowledge I did not change any setting but now they are going to spam and junk mail since it is a new email! Help me please solve this problem.
    No one from Word Press has contacted me yet...please contact me with some assistance.

  2. That is how comment notifications are sent, not emailed new post subscriptions.

    Are you sure these aren't notifications of new comments on existing blog posts?

  3. Yes, I watched the video where WordPress changed the settings but, I do not have the option on my Settings-Discussions that they outlined.
    And, people are not necessarily commenting... the blog just arrives so they can easily post a comment which was changed by Word Press and not me.What is happening is the email is being sent to junk/spam mail.
    I am trying to figure out how to get back to the blogs arriving from [email redacted].

  5. As, sorry about that, we did make a change to facilitate commenting via email.

    Unfortunately, we have no control over how email provider choose what is vs. what is not spam. Depending on your provider, if you mark it as Not Spam, it will educate their system.

    Otherwise, I recommend contacting their support department to inform them of the false-positive.

  6. I understand that part about spam/junk mail however, I would like to change it back to <do-not-reply@> and I am not seeing how to do that without turning off the ability to comment at all?

  7. That cannot be changed back. This is is a system-wide change to facilitate commenting via email.

    I'm having trouble verifying my domain in regards to my email that I've added to my wordpress website. I purchased the domain and added an email. I used google apps for a website provider. For some reason I'm having a hard time getting my email to function.

    I googled for solutions and utilized the domain assistance page. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to verify my domain provider. Could anyone provide me with any assistance to this problem?
