Bug in PressRow 0.1 Theme

I’m having trouble uploading and applying a different header to my site. Once I upload an image, and crop it, WordPress says the new header image should be up. I refresh my blog page, and the original header is still up. I go back into the header changing menu, and under “This is your header image” is a blank space.

    Little help?

    Hi there,
Will you provide a link to your blog please? That way we can view it in different browsers and perhaps be better able to help you.

It’s a car blog, so pictures of, umm… sheets (?) isn’t exactly provocative of the subject matter.

I see a header of stacks of books – using firefox

    Books, sheets, whatever.

I have Firefox; I’ll try editing using that browser. Stand by…

They’re books, I think ;) Yes, the original header image is still there.

What’s the filesize and extension of the image you’re trying to upload?

    (1) No wordpress.com blogs have “www” in their urls. The correct url for your blog is http://tarmacphilosopher.wordpress.com

    (2) If you create a perfectly sized header that has also been optimized prior to uploading it will not require cropping. Images of exactly 770 x 200 pixels will be used as-is.

    (3) The only file types you can upload are found here http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/what-filetypes-can-i-upload/
Note that bmp is not a supported file type.

I just uploaded an image using Firefox; worked like a dream. Safari’s just not up to snuff.
    Thanks for your help.

Sorry about the “www” thing. I keep forgetting it’s no longer necessary.

    Safari is problematic http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/20/im-using-safari-and-i-have-problems/
I’m glad to hear and see that you were successful – happy blogging. :)

P.S. Would you please mark this thread “resolved”?
