    I added this :

    I don’t see that CSS at all if I view your site’s style sheets using the browser dev tools. Did you only try it in the Customizer without saving? Please try saving and check if that helps. Let me know, but leave the code saved, if it doesn’t.

    It would be nice to add a link to WhatsApp messages on the Social Media Menu
    Is that at all possible???

    That menu is meant for links to social profiles. As WhatsApp does not offer any kind of public profile page, it’s not supported in the menu.

    If you have a WhatsApp messaging link you can add that to the menu, and we can use CSS to replace the default link icon with a WhatsApp icon, but the icon wouldn’t be styled the same as the other icons in the menu, so it won’t look very good.

    The icons appearing in the menu are SVG images that are dynamically created at the moment the page loads. They’re not static image files just being embedded. But to add a WhatsApp icon via CSS you’d need to use an image file, and it would appear exactly as the image file was created.

    hi thanks for responding

    I’d save the code for resetting header size. It didn’t work however.

    I added a link to WhatsApp click to chat on social menu. How can I add the image thru css??

    Another customization I’d like to make: removing the top line on blog posts from my main posts page (that is assigned to a page with static page as home page) so that it would look the same as a regular main post page (not assign to static page)

    The reason behind this is that I have to blogs:
    blog 1 > page blog assign to posts (static home page)
    blog 2 > home page assign to posts

    and I’d like both to look alike…

    I still don’t see that code in the browser inspector. If I add that CSS in the browser inspector it works, so if it doesn’t work when you add it in the Customizer it might be something else on your site blocking it. As your site is not hosted with us, we don’t have access to it to check what that might be. The WordPress.org forums might be able to help you troubleshoot why the CSS is not working when you add it.

    I added a link to WhatsApp click to chat on social menu. How can I add the image thru css??

    First you’ll have to find an image and upload it to your media library. Then add the image URL where indicated in this code:

    #menu-item-603 a {
      background-image: url("IMAGE_URL");
      background-size: 24px;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background-position: bottom;
    }

    #menu-item-603 a svg {
      opacity: 0;
    }

    Another customization I’d like to make: removing the top line on blog posts from my main posts page (that is assigned to a page with static page as home page) so that it would look the same as a regular main post page (not assign to static page)

    To remove the line above the first post on the posts page, use:

    .blog .site-main .hentry:first-of-type {
      border-top: none;
    }

    I just added it again…

    this is the code I added:

    @media screen and (min-width: 62em){
    .has-header-image #hero-header {
    padding: 6.6vh 1.5em;
    }
    }

    Thru the plugin Simple Custom CSS.

    I added the code to remove the upper line of the main post. It worked ok, however now I have a huge white gap.

    Take a look

    You’ll need to further decrease the padding from earlier: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/bug-on-menu-independent-publisher-2/#post-3334775

    You seem to want a lot of tweaks, which isn’t bad, but we can’t always help, so I usually like to drop off my favorite educational resources at this point. You never know, you might find even more fun changes to make as you poke around. That’s pretty much how I got my start in CSS. :)

    The good news is, you can try out all of your changes before saving them to your Customizer by using your browser’s development tools.

    First, you need to find the right thing to target, the selector, and we have a great guide for that: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/07/25/css-selectors/

    As for how to change things, I recommend https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS

    Beyond that, my favorite reference for “What does that do?” is https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference
