Calendar & Links
The calendar just shows the past dates that you’ve blogged; you can’t change it or put extra information in it. If you want to do that, you can set up a calendar elsewhere (Yahoo or Google) and link to it in your sidebar.
As for creating links, you mean in the sidebar? You need to use a text widget. (Presentation > Widgets > Text 1.) In the configure setting, you add a line of code which will link to your destination. For instance, if you want to link to Google, it would be
I downloaded a Calendar that marks the events that you want but I don’t know how/where to install it!

We do not have FTP uploading into wordpress.com blogs so whatever you have downloaded is not likely to be usable on your blog. These are the file types that we can upload jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, doc, ppt.
Please provide a link to the site you downloaded the calendar from so we can look at the code and see if this is possible.
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but there are differences between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. The primary one being the software. The plugin you have downloaded is for free standing wordpress.org software. It is not for our wordpress.com software.
We do not have plugins at wordpress.com. Here our software is wp MU (multiuser) software. This calendar cannot be run on a wordpress.com blog. Moreover, we have yet to find any similar calendars that do run on this blogging platform.
I guess I’ll just put a link to a yahoo calendar.
