Calendar View

  • It’s a nightmare keeping track of scheduled posts. Why on earth is there no calendar view of scheduled posts???

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Sorry to know that you are facing trouble with tracking scheduled posts. While there is not dedicated calendar view to track the scheduled post but while publishing any new post if you click on calendar icon you will see the upcoming scheduled posts.

When looking at the calendar, the currently selected date will be indicated with a blue dot, and today’s date will have an orange circle around it.

Dates when other posts are already scheduled to be published are indicated with a light blue outline. You can move your cursor over these dates to see what post(s) are scheduled for that day.

Check this screenshot for what I said above.

    I hope this helps.

  • Thank you for the reply! I know about the calendar when publishing but it would be good to see this at a glance and not just when completing a post – there are lots of plugins that do this but they can’t be installed in WordPress.com…

  • Yes thats true. There are lot of plugins that do this but currently not available on WordPress.com . We include the most popular plugin functionality within our sites automatically.

If you feel its a must-have and would benefit users on WordPress.com, then please let us know in the ideas forum! Tell us which plugin you want from the list of available plugins, where it can be downloaded and most importantly, why you think it should be included on WordPress.com. All of the feedback is read, and we’re collecting the most numerous requests for implementation.
