Is it possible to see who is visiting my blog and not leaving comments? Can I compile an email list of visitors to my website? I’d like to have a link on my homepage, such as “For email updates, please leave your email addresses, which will not be shared with anyone.

The blog I need help with is priscillawarner.wordpress.com.

Please note that in some countries, like Canada, using email addresses collected without SPECIFIC consent is against the law.

Um…I’m going to have to say no. It would even be difficult to pull this off if you were on wordpress (not wordpress.com). At best, the only thing you will be able to collect is the IP addresses, where they came from, and where they went to, and how long they stayed there. Unless you have a service that correlates that to an email address (or you have a box saying ‘please enter your email here’, or your readers came from an email that linked to your blog, I just don’t see it happening.
