Is there a way to change my follow blog widget so that it does not display how many Facebook followers I have for my blog? -http://jsstudyabroad.wordpress.com/ .. it says I have 1,000 followers after I signed up for Publicize, but my stats only show about 14 followers…

    Howdy,

It’s not possible to customize the follower count, but you can hide the count from appearing in the Follow Blog Widget.

The follower count includes both WordPress.com blog followers, and your followers from social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Yeah, I turned it off and used the Page view count instead. It looks like i’ve inflated my followers for people who are unaware an then they may be turned off from following themselves.

There should be an option to change that from including social media site followers (or at least separating the numbers)
