Can I have multiple posts to multiple pages? And will notifications go out?

I want to post to individual pages. I have several different topics I want to cover on my site. (Gluten-Free, Homeschool, Cooking w/Kids, Hobbies, political/social issues, etc.) So, to keep it organized and make sense I made an individual page for each, and a custom menu so they are listed across the top. I use the Fresh & Clean theme. I want to be able to post repeatedly to each of my topics/pages. And to have those who follow me to receive notification when I post to one of those pages. Will this work? Do they only receive notification if you put a post on the home or designated ‘posts’ page? I would like to have a summary appear on my home page and then when you click on it it will take you to the full article under that topic. Is this making sense? Is there a better way? Do I need a different theme? I feel like if I have summary posts for all these different topics on one page my site will seem confusing and unfocused. Help, please!

The blog I need help with is

Pages and Posts are NOT the same.
The pages we bloggers create are static and cannot automatically update. Only the dynamic categories pages created by the software will automatically update.

Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page. We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.
