Can I remove i0.wp.com from pictures?
-
Hello,
I have an issue!
I am trying to insert photos from URLs (photos are weather maps). These photos refresh automatically. Unfortunately, the result is not the same. For example, I uploaded the photo yesterday and today I see the previous day, not the current day.
I thought that the problem is at i0.wp.com. Can I remove it? Or any other solution?
Thanks a lot!

Hi there,
When you link to an image hosted somewhere else, and the site where the image is hosted doesn’t support https (so the link to the image starts with http instead of https), WordPress.com automatically redirects that image through our servers so it can be hosted over https. That adds i0.wp.com to the start of the image’s link. That makes sure the image works for visitors to your site, and they don’t get any errors when they view that page.
If you prefer, you can also save those images and upload them directly to your site’s media library. That way the image will be added directly from your site and there won’t be any changes to the image link.
