    I was just wondering if under the custom CSS it is possible to remove the date from beneath a post title, and if so, how it is done.

    Depends on the theme.

    In your case, it looks like it should if you add this to the CSS:

    h3 {
         display:none;
    }

    That and if h3 isn’t used elsewhere within the theme. I don’t see it right off.

    The display of the date right below each post title is one of the few things I dislike about Simpla. I wish it as at the end of the post, with the post metadata. I’ve CSS’d the date so that it’s the same font and size as the post metadata.
    By the way, h3 is used in the sidebar as well as in the .entrytitle part of the content.

    That’s what I was afraid of. So would it be:

    entrytitle.h3 {
         display:none;
    }

    Where entrytitle is the class that wraps the h2 and h3 in the header of the post like that.
