Our blog which is on WP.org site crashed due to hacking, (not backed up) but the first 6 months of the site are on a WP.com.

How do I move these over (I assume they are ok) Is there a way to retrieve them and bring them over to a new WP.org site so I don’t have to recreate the entire blog?

The blog I need help with is www.pubgraphics.com/blog.

You log-in to the WordPress.com blog and use the exporter to create an XML file which you can then import into the WordPress.org install. If you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

thank you. Can I assume this content is safe from a virus, since it is on a WP. com server?

So is there a way to back up content on WP.com? I know with .org you can use a plug-in.
