Can you stop the non-standard pictures (these do not look like ads to me) ?
A malicious site has infected my blog with pictures and ads. Norton has already cleared me of viruses, but I’m still getting these unwanted pictures and ads. Is there a way you can clear them off my blog?
The title of the post is “Review of Liam Maher’s The Plumber and the Wishing Well.”
I don’t think these ads are ones that you would approve of as your standard ads.

The blog I need help with is barbarabockman.wordpress.com.
The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade. WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all.
Also be aware that we have had bloggers complaining about ads here only to discover that they were not wordpress.com ads at all. The bloggers had browser add-ons and extensions from free games and other programs they downloaded from the interent that had ads embedded in theme. When they disabled al browser add-ons and extensions tha ads were gone. When they enabled each one one at a time the found “the culprits”.
After you have done that if you feel an ad you see on your blog is inappropriate please take a screenshot of it and upload it into your Media Library. Then return to this thread to tell Staff what the file name of the screenshot is and they will examine it.
Advertising is sometimes run on WordPress.com sites unless you have purchased the No Ads upgrade. If you have come across something odd or objectionable, please take a screenshot and save it to your media library so that Staff can see what you are seeing.
Good day to you. :)
~~tt, duet. :)
