Cannot access blog from my computer...grr!!!!

  1. I paid for an upgrade today ($99.00) and had problems with a new domain name straight from the beginning. Ever since I got the upgrade, my computer will NOT let me go to my blog. I decided to have my money refunded, and ever since the initial purchase, i've had problems with the website. I've cleared my cache and cookies, but everytime I type my blog ( in the taskbar, it directs me to I'm NOT happy. I rely on my blog...can anyone help me? Btw, I can access my blog from anywhere but my laptop (where I originally purchased the upgrade.) I need to be able to access the blog...please and thank you for whatever help you can give me.

  2. Domain mapping is not an instantaneous process. It can take between 24 - 72 hours for a domain name change to propagate throughout the internet. We have no control over when ISPs flush their DNS caches. Maybe you did not understand that.

  3. I have flagged this thread for Staff assistance because I think you are having difficulty with following the instructions.

    However, you did ask about refunds and cancellations. You must be logged in under the username account that purchased the upgrade to request cancellation or a refund. provides a 30-day refund on all of our upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. You can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard

  4. I DID understand the instructions, I just thought that it would not actually block me from the blog itself. The time it takes isn't the actual problem, but the fact that I cannot access my blog is the problem. Thank you.

  10. The domain already existed when you tried to register it and therefore it only got mapped to your blog instead.
    Now, it seems that your bundle upgrade has been canceled and refunded.

    The domains and are still available. I recommend trying to register one of those instead, to do so go to Store > Domains on your blog's dashboard and follow the steps there.

    Please take a look at the following guide before going through the process.

  14. I'm sorry. I originated my blog from the laptop that I am currently on. Ever since I purchased (then refunded) the upgrade, I still have problems accessing my blog. The blog address still directs me to I can access my blog from anywhere but my laptop. I guess I'm still a little confused.

    If the blog address still redirects to a wrong site, please try clearing out your cache.

  19. No. I did however, clear my cache again, and then restarted my laptop...and voila! my blog is accessible again. Thank you. I just didn't understand why I had to clear my cache more than once? I do use Firefox.
