I’m trying to include images in a post, but no matter how small an image I use – thumbnail, etc. – when I preview the post, the image is always blown up to fill the entire post column.

I think this is related to betheme, but can’t find the option that may be blowing these up.

Does anyone know how to modify this if it’s in the theme or how to change the coding in the text editor to override the theme maybe?

Please post the URL of the site you refer to every time you post to any support forum.

Know that WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You did not provide the URL of the site you refer to but you can determine whether it is a wordpress.COM hosted site or a wordpress.ORG software install and where it is hosted by typing the URL into http://www.whoishostingthis.com/

Be aware that here at wordpress>COM we do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.COM account page.

The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
