Cannot edit CSS stylesheet

    My blog:

    If anyone can help me arrange my page titles at the top of my blog against my Header (CSS) image that would be great. Uploading a new picture (to the same width) as my previous header picture has not worked, and in fact it looks like I cannot edit the CSS anymore. I have cleared my cache on my Firefox browser. I’ve shortened one of my page titles to “make” them all fit, but it did nothing. Below I have created a URL to a screenshot of my original (and now unwanted) header picture (jpg) displaying the header centrally and correctly with “Home” being on the far left and “Bookshop” being on the far right. All the page titles fit against the black backdrop of my header image:

    Thank you

    The blog I need help with is

    Once you start editing CSS, the custom header feature will no longer work. You have to upload the new header image to the media library, get the URL of that image and then put that image into the CSS in the appropriate place which is

    #header {
    background: url("") no-repeat scroll center top transparent;

    Don’t use “background-image”

    This will align the header tabs

    #header .menu {
    margin: 0 50px 0 0;

    Do note that with the black section being part of the header, if you add any more tabs, it will require that you make a new header with a wider black background section for the tabs, and you will also have to adjust the 50px margin I’ve referenced above.

    Thank you thesacredpath, you have helped me once again! I copied the code you gave me and just changed the 50 to 40 and it now sits perfectly central:

    #header .menu {
    margin:0 40px 0 0;

    I am very thankful that visitors are now seeing my correctly aligned header.

    Have a great day.

    You too, and you are welcome.
