cannot renew upgrade

  1. I cannot seem to renew the No Ads upgrade. It was originally purchased through a colleague's WordPress account. I have since become responsible for our blog and would like to renew the upgrade through my account.

    When I try and purchase the upgrade (which has expired), I'm told that "this blog already has some of these upgrades. Did you mean to renew your subscriptions?". There is, however, no option to renew the subscription available when I look at my billing history, (I assume because a colleague purchased it though her account.)

    How do I renew/purchase the upgrade, in this scenario?

  2. have the other account transfer the No Ads upgrades to you or cancel it then you can purchase it all over.

    I will also flag this for staff help, if an Upgrade has expired the staff can remove it from a blog after a certain amount of time (there is some sort of grace period I think where the ownership stays with the old account) then you can purchase it again.

  3. Thank you for your advice, Auxclass. We can't seem to transfer or cancel the subscription (which is likely due to the fact that it has already expired).

    I hope a staff member will be able to help me.

    Hi @historic1,

    I have removed the expired subscription, which was preventing you from adding the upgrade to your account.

    Please go back to the Store tab in your site's Admin Dashboard and purchase it again. You should be good from here, but if you have any problems adding it to your site, let me know and I will be happy to sort things out for you. :)
