The wording in the sentence “Sorry, that site is reserved!” in the message quoted above might be confusing. A member reading that might think that if the site is reserved, then it must exist. Perhaps “Sorry, that address is reserved!” would be better.
The site (for a small local charity) was originally set up by me in my own name. I was the Treasurer at the time. When I ceased to be Treasurer I moved the site to this account (with help from WordPress.com) which is owned by the charity although I continue to look after it.
For some reason the domain (which is there) is called ascotvolunteerbureau.wordpress.com and not avbwp.wordpress.com.
