Can't access my blog - WordPress says I don't have a blog yet when I do

  1. I haven't edited my website for some time now and found the process of logging in today was unfamiliar. I had to reset my password to get in and then found on the "My Blog" page the statement "You don't have a blog yet". My website is still showing up publicly as before and I don't think I've broken any terms and conditions.

The blog I need help with is

  2. My guess is you own this blog perhaps under a different username account and have to recover it.

You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog.

Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones:

If you do not see the blog here then
    follow this guide >

If you have lost your log-in information you can visit
and click the "Need More Help" link and complete the form for account recovery.

  3. Sorry for the false alarm. I was using the wrong username to log in. It's been while since I last did this . . .

  4. PS Thankyou so much timethief I didnt notice your quick reply then it was so quick. You were right on the money thankyou for your interest. You would have got me unstuck had a stroke of pure chance not revealed the problem.

  5. I love happy endings. :) You're welcome and best wishes with your blog.

  6. Thank you and I also appreciate the time taken for such a clear and comprehensive answer. I'll try to model myself around it when answering questions in future! I'm trying my hand at teaching adult classes and sometimes I get inspired by people's answers to questions which in your instance was how to reduce and simplify and yet be comprehensive. Very best wishes and thanks again for your interest.
