    Hello,

    I''m having trouble specifically with this page in changing the font size of the captions can anyone help?

    I have custom CSS and have tried adding the following but nothing changed.

    .wp-caption p.wp-caption-text {
    font-size: 6px;}

    .wp-caption-text {
    font-size: 6px;}

    The blog I need help with is hebrontoday.org.

  2. Try this one:

    .wf-active .entry .wp-caption-text {
        font-size: 6px;
    }

    Thanks, but that didn't seem to work. When I change the body text all of the text changes (including the captions).

  4. Hi, you can add an !important attribute to the declaration so that nothing overrides it.

    .wf-active .entry .wp-caption-text {
        font-size: 6px !important;
    }

    I just put that code in but it's still not working. Is that just for new captions or can I change existing captions as well. I'm specifically looking at this post: http://hebrontoday.org/2014/02/17/arts-update/

    I was just able to change it by also adding

    .wf-active .entry .wp-caption-dd  {
    	font-size: 9px !important;

    However, now there's too much leading.

    This page seems to be working fine: http://hebrontoday.org/2014/01/23/alumni-parent-hockey-game/

    with the same code as http://hebrontoday.org/2014/02/17/arts-update/ but is functioning differently. What am I missing?

    Currently my code is

    .wf-active .entry .wp-caption-text {
    	font-size: 7px line-height:1; !important;
    }
    	.wf-active .entry .wp-caption-dt {
    	font-size: 7px line-height:1; !important;
    	}
    .wf-active .entry .wp-caption-dd {
    	font-size: 7px line-height:1; !important;
    	}

    and now the line height issue is solved but I'm unable to control the font size again...

    Okay fixed that by adding in ; in the right places. How can I control the box around the photo? It goes much further down in the arts post than in the other.

  9. I looked at the Arts Update post, and the caption boxes around the images all appear correct in Safari and Firefox. Did you get this fixed?

    Many times when this happens, part of a post's content gets inserted into the wp-caption div and it takes a short trip to the "Text" tab and then you move the content out of the caption div.
