Can't control tagline font and color

  1. I have custom design capability and found where I can control the header title font and color, but the tagline appears to be out of reach. It is displayed in a light grey color that disappears against the background. How can I change it to be more visible? Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is coppershavings.com.

    I'll flag this thread so it's moved to the CSS forum for you wehere you can get help with the CSS editing on Bold News.

    In the meanwhile Bold News is a premium theme and read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there. The premium theme forums are at http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/ with separate sections for each theme. http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/bold-news

    If you are not successful when searching there is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it and post to it.

    All CSS editing is theme specific.
    1. Have you both purchased the Bold News premium theme?
    2. Have you both purchased the custom design upgrade?

  7. @coppershavings, the tag line is under #site-description in the CSS. This is the rule from the existing CSS. Copy and paste to your custom CSS and edit as desired.

    #logo .site-description {
    color: #666666;
    font: italic 14px Georgia,serif;
    }

    When working with CSS, you always have to start from the sourcecode (XHTML). That is where you find what class or ID controls the particular page element you are wanting to style, and then you find that rule in the CSS.

  8. @triallamerica5x, this is what I see when I try and access your site:

    triallamerica5x.wordpress.com is no longer available.
    The authors have deleted this blog.

    You need to provide a link to the site you are talking about.

    @jomaj, you are using a different theme from the original poster. To prevent confusion, please start a new thread. Thanks.
