Can't Create Reader List with JAWS
I use the JAWS screen reader on Windows 7 with IE 11. I read about the new Reader Lists feature and wanted to give it a try. I went to my reader, but couldn’t find an arrow next to the word Lists and I was unable to open the menu to select the option for creating a new list as explained in your blog post. I tried NVDA with FF and got the same result. Completely inaccessible, or am I missing something? Please advise.
I had another go at creating a list and this time I was more successful! :) I entered a list name in the edit field under the Lists heading and pressed Enter on the Add button (pressing Space didn’t work). Btw, JAWS reads out the Add button before the edit field for the list name. Confusing, but not a show-stopper.
After that, I was able to enter a description for the list and add URLs. However, this exposed more problems which will be the subject of a separate post.

Hi @johnoregan, thanks for the feedback. I’ve passed this along to our accessibility team, as well as the reader team.
Thanks for the modlook tip, TT! I’ll remember that one in future.
And thanks Supernovia for drawing this matter to the attention of the Accessibility and Reader teams.
But I can now create Reader Lists so I’m marking this topic Resolved. However, when I created a list, several other issues emerged, which I’ve outlined here:
Thanks, I’ll close this thread and focus on the other.
