Can't edit DNS - purchased domain from wordpress & its not working

    I registered the domain http://www.affluenceavenue.com but it is not working.

    I get an error saying "Your nameservers need to be set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and NS2.WORDPRESS.COM for these DNS records to work. If you have already updated the nameservers you can ignore this message; it will stop appearing soon."

    I purchased the domain from WordPress. When I try to update it, it says -
    We can't save these records because they don't look right to us. Check the errors below. Please contact support if you are unable to resolve the problem.
    1. This does not match any of the DNS record formats.

    What should I do?

    The blog I need help with is affluenceavenue.wordpress.com.

  2. What records are you trying to update? You name servers are set correctly unless you have changed them in the last few miutes - you have domain mapping

    http://affluenceavenue.com loads for me - but you don't have the primary domain set correctly so visitors will see http://affluenceavenue.wordpress.com/ when they visit

    I had to get a refund and re-register. Thanks for the help.

  4. I'm having the same problem. Is there a way to fix it or do I also need to get a refund and re-register?

    Only refund and re-register worked for me.

    @lindseyliving
    Your domain mapping is working.
    The nameservers appear to be set up correctly for lindseyliving.com.
    lindseyliving.com is set as the primary domain for lindseyliving.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site.
    After you make the domain mapping purchase here > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and do the set up it can take between 24 - 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What's important during that stage is to be patient. Note that it's quite common for your own ISP to be last one to flush their DNS caches.

  7. It's actually a new domain : http://smallbatchcomm.com
