Can't log in
(As I can’t log into travellingmacsI couldn’t access the forum so I logged in with a different address )
I have an active blog. A few days ago I changed the email address as I had been using a work address and I didn’t want it connected with the blog. Now I can no longer log into my blog ( on either the ipad app, safari or my Pc using windows). The log in says the email / password address is wrong . I tried the recovery password, got a code by SMS , entered it and got this screen message

I am getting emails advising when people post a comment and I can reply to their comments by email and it shows on the blog correctly but I can’t access anything else….at breakdown point :((( this blog is my most prized possession :((

Hi this is what term get confused by. Sorry I’m so dumb in this area. Is username account the email I first created the blog with? :(
I can’t use the dashboard link as I can’t get passed the log in screen to open th dashboard. The address I’m using to ge into the forum isn’t related to the blog I write .

Yes the two are totally unrelated but I couldn’t use the travellingmacs to enter the forum because I can’t log in to ask a question.
It was all working fine until last night. Up until then my ipad app just logged straight in, I could use safari and PCM then went to post and whammy all locked out:(

I am still receiving email notifications of comments and can reply to them as travelling macs using email

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the free hosted WordPress.com blog(s) to change the associated email address.

I can’t log in to travellingmcs wordpress because when I put in the email address I used ( that worked until about 24 hours ago) and associated password it says its incorrect. I can’t then get to any place to do anything to the blog. I have been using the blog for over a year.
Geminiprincesss is just an address I have used for email and is in no way associated and never has with travelling macs. I have just used it here to log in today to use the forum as I can’t log in using my travelling mac blog as I’m locked out :( and u need to use an address to log in and I desperately wanted to ask my question :(
Do you know if recovery requests work and do they take a long time ( like months) ?

The ‘geminiprincesss’ account is not a member of the travellingmacs.wordpress.com blog. Therefore you’ll need to log in as ‘travellingmacs ‘.
If you don’t have access to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password over here. You’ll need to enter the username ‘travellingmacs ‘ or the e-mail address that’s associated with that account.
Please follow the instructions carefully. You’ll receive two separate emails during the reset process, so make sure you read them both. If you don’t receive the emails right away, check your spam folders as well. The confirmation emails can get caught in them sometimes :)
If you don’t receive an e-mail then it’s probably associated with a different e-mail address.
