I’m reporting the following as a bug for all blogs on wordpress.com:
When you click Update Profile Picture, you are not presented with an image upload form, but a form that presents the option to use Gravatar to read your profile information and everything else about your blog.
The bug reported by me is that the Deny button does nothing, and that therefore I cannot upload an update profile picture.
When you have a bug report forum, I will report which browser and operating system I use.
Hi @easilytransparent, all of the profile photos on WordPress.com are managed through Gravatar, which is one of our services.
If you’e concerned about Gravatar being globally recognized, you could consider using an alias for this account. So with gmail, for example, you could change your account address to (email redacted) — and then only assign a gravatar to that.
