Caon I transfer my followers to my new blog using Jetpack plugin?
I’d like to transfer my 380 followers from wordpress.com to my new self-hosted blog, created with wordpress.org.
I’ve installed the Jetpack plugin in my new blog, so I’m asking you, if it is possible, to transfer all followers to the new installation.
I’ve another question: can I transfer my site stats too? I’ve connected Jetpack to my wordpress.com account, but the stats for the new self-hosted blog started from 0.
My blog on wordpress.com (francescagerosa.wordpress.com) was used in my domain francescagerosa.it via redirect, so the stats were the same.
Could you help me in some way?
The blog I need help with is francescagerosa.wordpress.com.
Since you have already installed the JetPack plugin, all you need to do is contact a staff /Happiness Engineer who will be able to transfer both your followers and your stats for you.
Hopefully this helps!
As you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and posted the relevant URL(s) into this thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. I tagged this thread for their attention. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
Hi Francesca – I can move your followers and merge your stats. Can you please just confirm that all followers and stats should be moved from francescagerosa.wordpress.com to http://www.francescagerosa.it/ ?
Once you’ve confirmed I’ll take care of it. :)
I confirm I need to transfer both stats and followers from francescagerosa.wordpress.com to my new website francescagerosa.it
Hi Francesca – Ok, you’re all set! Good luck with the new site, and let us know if you need anything else. :)
Hi there, I am looking to do the same! I am wanting to transfer my followers and site stats from http://www.lovelifeandhappyeverafter.com (wordpress site) to http://www.allthebuzz.co.uk (wordpress hosted site). Can someone help me with this please? I’d be delighted if it can be done! I have jet pack installed, is there anything else I need to do? Many thanks!
Hi there – Ok, I’ve moved them. :)
Hiya thanks so much for your help. I’m probably going to sound really stupid but what widget can I use to see/display my total views/followers?
It’s just that when I go to jet pack my stats still say what they said before even though you moved them?
Hi there – they’re there, but it can take some time for them to show up in your count. If you still don’t see them listed in 24 hours (in your Site Stats, same as on your old blog), let me know!
Hi eurello I’m so sorry to bother you but they don’t see to be showing up and that’s been a couple of days. Any chance you could take a look when you have the time? Old blog lovelifeandhappyeverafter.com new blog allthebuzz.co.uk
Sorry my followers have moved over but my site stats for page views haven’t and I was hoping they would?
Hi there – Sure thing, we can do that! I’ve now merged your stats. :)
I want to move my followers from “www.initian.wordpress.com” to “www.abhishekkuril.net”, Please help me
I just had a new WordPress install created, and it’s now live with the same domain name as the old site (sunchowdersemporia.com). Can you transfer my stats and followers? I had assumed they would just show up.
@abhishek – Sure, done.
Wendy – You have two different Jetpack connections: one for sunchowdersemporia.com and one for sunchowdersemporia.com/wp2013/ . It looks like the second is your currently active connection. Can you confirm you want your followers moved from that first connection to the second? I can also merge your stats if you used the import-export tools to move your content.
Yes, confirming that I want my followers moved from sunchowdersemporia.com to sunchowdersemporia.com/wp2013. I would love you to move stats too..not sure what tools were used as someone helped me with this. I so appreciate your help!!! Warmly, Wendy
