    Hi!

When I click on a picture in my post I get to the image file page, i.e., the image is embedded.
When I click on a picture in the gallery of that post, I get to the carousel, which is a really nice feature since the pic appears bigger and one can easily go from one pic to the next.
    BUT:
Is there a way that I can get a carousel view directly by clicking on the picture in the post (i,e, getting the carousel instead of getting to the image file page) and hence omitting the gallery thumbnail pics (I usually embed all my pics in the post, without gallery)?

    thanks!

The blog I need help with is kiehas.wordpress.com.

No. The carousel is a function of the gallery. You can insert galleries in a single row with the images at maximum width for the theme. See the shortcode attributes on the gallery support page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#gallery-shortcode .
